ThuyVy was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Having been surrounded by an enormous family her entire life, where she is 1 of 27 first cousins, she was blessed with a multitude of mentors who taught her the value of hospitality, hard work, and dedication. They are the backbone of her strong work ethic, and although she currently resides in San Francisco, that Midwest work ethic is forever instilled in her.
ThuyVy received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Kansas City-Missouri, and has spent most of her career working in Human Resources. She led and worked collaboratively in planning and organizing various corporate events, such as local retreats and global excursions. It was through these experiences that she realized her passion for event planning. Her keen eye for detail, adept organizational skills, and strong work ethic make her a great addition to the team here at Latitude 35.
She enjoys playing sports, traveling and cooking a wide array of dishes. In particular, she loves carrying on the traditional Vietnamese dishes that have been passed down for generations. She considers herself a major “foodie”, and lives by the mantra “I do not eat to live. I live to eat”. She is grateful for her past travels, which have allowed her to experience different foods and expose her to different cultures around the world.
